Common Fauna of Kallar and Mankulam, Kerala

For a few years, I’ve been exploring the rainforests and cardamom plantations of Kallar and Mankulam (in Kerala, India), documenting the common wildlife of the region. I’ve compiled all my findings into this booklet, which you can find below.

When I started this project, there was no information on the region’s wildlife. I set out to create this easy-to-read guide to help locals, tourists and other interested parties as they explore this environment.

This project is continually updated. If you have any suggestions/contributions, email me at ishan.shanavas@gmail.com.
