Bookmarks
Cropping is an interesting concept in photography. You choose what to include, and what to leave out. While editing my work, I often wondered how I could use cropping to create work that was interesting and ignited curiosity in the viewer?
A revelation came while editing an image of a Painted stork. By doing an extreme crop (like a 2×6 aspect ratio), I could turn my photograph into a bookmark. This not only suited the image, but also gave it more life and flavour.
So I scoured my work for images that would make compelling bookmarks. These are some of the images I landed on. I plan on printing them out, and giving them to my friends and family. If you are interested in procuring them, then send me an email and we can work something out!
